For the renovation of the Athéna tower in « La Défense » in Paris, Bouygues Construction decided to call upon our services for the supply and installation of a large luminaire.
For these exceptionals spaces, the choice is focused on the Circline range. The RDC is thus equipped with luminaires of 7m, 8m and 8,5m in diameter, in polished aluminum finish and warm white led 3000 ° K.
In the first instance, the nature of the ceiling obliged us to install the suspension lines and then to pass the power cables to the secondary of the luminaires.
We have to optimize the positioning of the ropes on the primary and to work at 12m distance. Thus, we installed and left on standby the 70 suspensions ropes with a diameter of 1,5mm.
Once the ceiling was completed and the lines were taken out, we checked them one by one to ensure the correct positioning of the luminaires in the space.
At this stage, we congratulated the Bouygues construction teams for the patience and precision of the work accomplished.
The segments could be mounted at a height of 7m.
The fiirst of the 3 circlines to appear : the diameter 7m, followed by the 8.5m and finally the 8m.
As a great mechanic our luminaires were mounted and we were able to finish the installation in time.
The result is amazing, the warm white soft light dresses up the hall and emphasizes the volume.
The polished mirror finish offers a reflective play that allows highlights the hall dimensions.
In the floors we installed smaller luminaires depending on the spaces.
This singular project can be registered in the customized category by the size of the luminaires but also in the architectural category by the result obtained.
